Giorgio Tentolini\u00a0was born in Casalmaggiore (Cremona) in 1978, where he lives and works.\u00a0Each of his works emerges from a precise investigation into time as memory and identity, through careful study and a slow reconstruction involving the light and the engraving of layers of different materials, such as fabrics, papers, and PVC. Currently, he favors tulle and wire mesh as the main media of his research, for the meditative lightness these materials impart to the image, offering a metaphor of places, memories, dreams, and visions. His work, a crossroads between painting and sculpture, has received national and international recognition since the early 2000s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His works have been exhibited in prestigious venues across Europe, including Rome, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, and Geneva, as well as in the United States and Asia, including highly relevant public spaces such as the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens, the Etruscan Museum of Rome, the Royal Palace of Milan, the Teatro Regio of Parma, the MAR – Museum of Art of the City of Ravenna, the MUSA – Museum of Sal\u00f2, the Legislative Assembly of the Emilia Romagna Region and the Lombardy Regional Council in the Pirelli skyscraper in Milan.
With great enthusiasm, he takes part in the sixtieth edition of the Venice Biennale, hosted in the Cameroon Pavilion within the prestigious halls of Palazzo Don\u00e0 Dalle Rose. His project explore the roots of the human genre, offering a deep and reflective look at human history and identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
